Learning Objectives

After completing this educational activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Discuss the issues surrounding different timing of dosing of pegfilgrastim.
  • Realize the potential importance of parenteral iron on improving response rates to ESP therapy
  • Understand that the pediatric population derives the same benefits from pegfilgrastim as filgrastim.
  • Discuss the potential use of darbepoetin alfa in the treatment of MDS.
